DirectConnect to UCF Success Coaches provide comprehensive support to prospective and current transfer students, from first contact at a partner college all the way through to graduation at UCF. Like a personal life coach, the Success Coach collaborates with the student to develop a holistic strategy to help them overcome any challenges through the transfer process and throughout their educational journey.

Catherine graduated from the University of West Florida with a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Education, specializing in Administration and Leadership Studies. A natural motivator, Catherine loves bringing out the best in her students and inspiring them to “LIVE THEIR DASH!”

Georgia knows that transferring schools can feel overwhelming, so one of her goals as a Coach is to ensure students feel well-supported and heard.

Jacqueline has an M.S. in Counseling Psychology and has had the pleasure of working in higher education for many years within several areas of Student Services and Support. Angela Edwards-Johnson

Angela Edwards-Johnson is a Student Success Coach at the UCF Connect Daytona Beach Center. Ms. Johnson holds a master’s degree in Non-Profit Management. Angela is an advocate for students and helps guide them as they transition from the Florida State College System to UCF. She is committed to helping students pursue their academic goals. Her expertise is student development and academic advising.

Valerie Baldock

Richard comes to us from upstate New York where he worked for 10 years as a Registrar. He has a bachelor’s degree in Music, and a Master’s degree in College Student Services Administration.
